Top Fantasy Picks - All Rounders
Marcus Stoinis did not get enough opportunities to bat, but he has performed when he got some balls under his belt to bat. Already has scored two fifties (the recent being in the last match against RCB) plus he comes in handy with his bowling and picks up a wicket or two.
Axar Patel has picked up 4 wickets in the 4 matches the he has played in. He has not got enough opportunity to bat, but given his ability we all know he can score quickfire cameos down the order if needed.
Given the match is at Sharjah, Rahul Tewatia should be a good pick as:
At Sharjah (2 matches): 3 wickets and 63 runs
At other venues (3 matches): 1 wicket and 43 runs.
Top Fantasy Picks - Bowlers
Rabada & Nortje: Both have been the go to wicket takers for Delhi Capitals this season. While Rabada is sitting at top of the table in the list of purple cap (with 12 wickets), Nortje is not far behind with 7 wickets. In fact, out of total 35 bowling wickets taken by DC this season, 19 have beentaken by these 2 only (which is more than 50%)
With the ball Jofra Archer has been the standout bowler for RR (5 wickets). No other bowler has looked as settled as he has. Also, he comes in handy with the bat as well down the order as he has so far scored 86 runs in 5 inns at a SR of 238.88
Top Fantasy Picks - Batsmen & Keepers
Jos Buttler looks fresh with the bat with a 70 (44 balls) against Mumbai Indians in the last match. Also, he looks in good touch against the Capitals as he has scored 124 runs (SR of 200) in his last 3 innings vs Delhi.
Rishabh Pant scores read: 37, 38, 28, 37*and 31 this IPL. Thus he has been getting starts but not going big.He is due for a big innings and might as well do it against Rajasthan as he has a stellar record against them. His last 3 innings against RR: 53*, 78*, 69
With 179 runs under his belt this season, Prithvi Shaw is the 2nd highest run scorer for DC this season. He has scored 97 runs against the Royals in 3 inns (Average of 32.33 and SR of 135). His highest score in this IPL which is 66 against the Knight riders (which is also the 2nd highest score by a DC batsman this season) has come at Sharjah.
Preview
Sharjah comes back into focus as Rajasthan meet Delhi in match 23 of the Indian T20 League, 2020. This is where the former won their first two games but then lost momentum as they shifted to other venues. The main source of their troubles is the loss of form of Smith and Samson. Both have been reckless in the last few games, throwing their wickets away. The bowling is solely dependent on Archer, though Tyagi showed against Mumbai that he can be of good use. With 4 wins in 5 games, Delhi barely have done much wrong. The batting looks well-oiled, supported by a solid bowling unit. They look as one of two teams to beat (other being Mumbai) going in as favourites.
Rajasthan at Sharjah: Played 3, Won 2, Lost 1
Delhi at Sharjah: Played 3, Won 2, Lost 1
