Toss : Delhi won the toss and opted to Bat

Jason Holder - With wickets in every match this season Holder has been a consistent performer scalping 13  wickets in 6 matches. Last match he showed his all-round skill by scoring 24* with the bat as well.

Axar Patel - He has been relatively quiet this season bowling economically well and taking wickets in every odd match. However, he did show what he can do with the bat in the last match by scoring 42 in just 33 balls.

Marcus Stoinins - With 9 wickets and 314 runs this season in 15 matches, Stoinins has been a perfect all-rounder. A gritty fifty (65) in the last match which also included a wicket with the ball must have boosted Stoinis’ confidence.

Rashid Khan - He was wicketless in the last match but before that, he was among wickets in each of his last 6 matches. Stat alert: This season in 2 matches that he has played against Delhi, he took a 3-for each (3/7 and 3/14); one of which was indeed at Abu Dhabi.

Anrich Nortje - With Rabada having a rough patch off late, Nortje has stepped up to the occasion picking up wickets in each of his last 7 matches (total 12 wickets in these matches) thus proving his consistency and guaranteed points in each match.

T Natarajan - He has bowled well against Delhi this season picking up 2/26 and 1/25 in the reverse  fixtures. Also this season he has taken wickets in every match that he has played at Abu Dhabi: 2/33, 2/40, 1/25 and 1/27; these 2 factors make him an interesting pick.

David Warner - With 546 runs, Warner is 2nd in the list of highest run-getters this season which proves his consistency. Stat alert: His last 3 scores against Delhi read 66, 45 and 51 (2 of them are this season).

Ajinkya Rahane - He had a duck in the last match but before that he had scores of 60 and 26. A look at Rahane’s last 4 matches against Hyderabad: 26(this season), 39, 70 and 65*

Kane Williamson - With a man of the match performance of 50* last night, Kane Williamson looked good in the middle order. His scores at Abu Dhabi this season are: 50*, 29 and 41; one of which was last night and the other was against Delhi earlier thus making him an interesting pick.

Hyderabad meet Delhi in Qualifier 2 of the 2020 Indian T20 League in Abu Dhabi.

The former are coming off a nervy win over Bangalore but they are up against a side which is a bit low on confidence, after being pummeled by Mumbai. On paper, Delhi look stronger but the game against Mumbai showed that they were nervous, under a slightly inexperienced captain in Shreyas Iyer.

Compared to that, Hyderabad have got four international captains - Warner, Williamson, Holder and Rashid! So there is no shortage of experience. Both sides have got excellent bowling attacks but the batting is a bit of a worry, with too much dependence on the opening partnership.

If it is a matter of nerves, Hyderabad hold the aces as they have now won 4 matches on the bounce, that too, against the top three sides. But if nerves can be gotten over, then expect a Mumbai-Delhi final.
